Designing and instigating a procedure to publicise the opening of the National Cycle Network with the aim to stimulate cycling nationwide

Photography, photographic history, website design, cycling, art, music, environmental politics, current affairs, travel, bird watching, natural history, writing, diving, computing and my family.

 I have lectured Lectures at many Universities including; University of the West of England, Bristol University, Salisbury, Gloucester, Southampton, Newport, Swansea, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Trent, Winchester, Westminster, Thames Valley University, Reading. Birmingham, Falmouth in the UK. Du Page, De Paul and Columbia in Chicago US. Charles Darwin and James Cook Universities in Australia and Dublin Institute in Eire. I have also taught at many schools and arts centres around the UK.

 In the summer of 2003 I was lucky enough to be commissioned to work with students from remote communities in the Northern Territory of Australia. The images we created were then put on a global website. I did many workshops with them as well as in places as diverse as a primary school and a prison.

 World Pinhole Day happens on the last Sunday of April every year and is designed to promote the wonder of pinhole photography to everyone. This year 2900 people from 62 countries uploaded their pinhole photograph taken on world pinhole day creating a huge gallery of pinhole images from all around the world. More information can be found on www.pinholeday.org

 A book of my images entitled ‘Mouthpiece’ was published by Dewi Lewis in September 2006. Make your own Paper camera was by Ilex press - Lark.

 I have had many television and Radio appearances, appearing on Blue Peter, The OneShow, the children’s BBC Art programme ‘smART’ and BBC 2’s ‘Every home should have one’ Using a wheelie bin to photograph the Clevedon Pier. I have also appeared on Radio 4 ‘Today’ and on Television in Germany, Brazil and the US as well as ‘The Jonathan Ross Show’.
